OKEEFFE, C. C. "Baron"  - 1860 era - Montana - Subject of  story entitled "Frontier Courts Were Rough"  of the first Civil Trial held within the present boundary of Montana. Seems that trapper "Tin Cup Joe" was warned about his horse eating oats of one Baron O'Keeffe. Trouble was, nobody told the horse. Discovered gorging on the Baron's oats, Tin Cup Joe's mount was promptly disposed of and therein lies the rest of this story.
