Named as member of Benteen's Company H., Baseball Team  in great story entitled BALL ONE OF THE FRONTIER by Milt Riske of baseball in the early days including one about a home run hit that had to be measured the next day cause it was so long they had to get special equipment or the Mormon triple play where a ball landed in a tree and a player shook it out while all watched – then got the ball loose and threw it in and got three outs.
